We are currently looking for a Project Engineer in Electrical and Power. You will work closely with one or more project managers responsible for the projects. Examples of facilities we work with include line-bound power such as yard and tunnel lighting, suction transformers, as well as larger power supply facilities such as converters with support systems in the form of station computers and relay protection. Additionally, you will work with procurements, participate in project and construction meetings, and manage contract content and agreements for consulting assignments and contracts. Most of the time is spent in the office, but there is enough time for site visits, such as inspections and assessments. The projects are carried out across the country and range in size from a few million up to 1 billion SEK.

The assignment includes transferring knowledge to the client's employees regarding the tasks that the resource consultant performs for the organization.

As a Project Engineer, you will work within project management. The tasks may vary as needed, but are primarily of an administrative nature. Based on interest and competence profile, there are opportunities to influence the content of the work. The assignment is suitable for a person with a profile who wants to further develop within the role of Project Engineer. Mastery of basic methods and tools for project management, planning, monitoring, and financial management is required.

A Project Engineer's tasks may include, but are not limited to:

• Working with forecasts and cost monitoring
• Financial administration, i.e., handling invoices and orders, work in preparation for
• year-end closing, etc.
• Managing the project's internal administration, such as project specifications, project routines, permissions, access, presentation materials, etc.
• Working with project document management
• Arranging meetings, being responsible for invitations, bookings, etc.
• Taking notes and minutes during meetings
• Working with risk management within the project
• Supporting project managers with scheduling, administration, monitoring, finance, etc.
• Preparation and management of quarterly and/or monthly reports
• Following up and updating the project's control program, project specifications, facility-specific requirements, etc.
• Participating in the reception control of the consultant's/contractor's delivered documents and following up on the quality of the documents
• Participating in the work with permits and agreements
• Participating in the procurement of designers and contractors
• Participating in the work with management data
• Working on the handover of projects to management
• Acting as meeting leader if needed.
• Participating in inspections and assessments as the client's representative if needed.

Competence Requirements

The resource consultant must meet the following competence requirements:

1. Degree (at least 180 credits or equivalent) in engineering, civil engineering, or construction.
2. At least 24 months of work experience as a project engineer in railway projects for the client. The work experience must not be older than 5 years from the date of the bid.
3. Training in standard agreements ABK09, AB04, and ABT06.
4. Documented training BASÄVISTA.
5. Driving license B.

Value-Added Requirements

• Has been a project engineer in railway projects on the client side for at least 36 months.
• Has actively participated in the preparation of at least two tender documents and participated in at least two procurements on the client side that fall under the Public Procurement Act for railway contracts in the last 5 years.
• Has documented good experience with the Swedish Transport Administration's systems Project Portal, CDI, and C7 for at least 24 months in the last 5 years.
• Has documented good experience working from the client side with consultants and contractors in railway projects for at least 24 months in the last 5 years.

The stationing location is Västerås, Malmö, or Gothenburg.
